PayphoneAccount deletion
Delete your Payphone account.
This public request path is available for employee and employer accounts. It explains how to delete your Payphone account and associated personal data, how we verify requests, and which limited records may need to be retained.

How to request deletion
Email support@payphonefocus.com from the email address associated with your Payphone account when possible. Ask us to delete your Payphone account and associated personal data. You may include the account email or workspace name if we need it to locate an existing account.
Do not send your password, government identification, bank or payment information, screenshots, phone activity, or other sensitive information. Payphone does not use this page as a lead form and does not ask you to provide new sensitive data.
Identity verification
Before deleting data, we verify that you control the account. We may ask you to confirm the request from the registered email address or through an existing Payphone sign-in or in-app step. We will never ask for your password.
If an employer submits a request about workspace records, we may also verify the requester's authority and separate organization records from an employee's personal account request.
Timing and confirmation
We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days. If applicable law sets a different deadline, or a documented security investigation, legal hold, or active dispute restricts part of the request, we will explain what is delayed and process the rest without unnecessary delay.
When processing is complete, we will send confirmation to the verified contact address unless doing so would create a security risk or is prohibited by law.
What deletion covers
Depending on the record category, we delete, de-identify, or disconnect personal data associated with the account. This includes the profile and sign-in association, workspace membership, Focus-session and challenge records, support records, and device or security identifiers, except for the limited records described below.
Deleting an employee account does not require an employer to delete its independent payroll, tax, employment, or accounting records when the employer must retain them under its own legal obligations.
Limited records we may retain
We may retain reward, payroll, tax, or accounting records needed to reconcile transactions or meet legal obligations, and limited records needed for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or disputes.
Each verified request is reviewed by record category. A general product-retention setting does not by itself override a deletion request. Access to retained records is restricted, they are not used to keep the Payphone account active, and we delete or de-identify them when the documented retention need ends where feasible.
Marketing and text messages
Marketing emails and text messages are separate from your Payphone account-deletion request. Marketing or SMS consent is not a condition of account deletion, and we do not ask you to opt in as part of this process.
To stop optional Payphone text messages separately, reply STOP. You may also ask support to address a marketing preference without changing your account-deletion request.
